If a game was released for Windows XP and is having problems on Windows Vista, you can solve those problems most of the time by putting the game in Compatibility Mode.

To do that, right-click on your game shortcut.

Pick "Properties".



On the "Compatibility" tab, check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)."



Hit "OK" and run the game from the shortcut you modified.
