The autoplay doesn't work correctly for Condemned: Criminal Origins on Vista 64-bit. To close the autoplay dialog, right-click in System Tray, select "Task Manager" and end task on "autorun.exe *32".

Regardless of which version of Vista you are using, it is best to run setup by browsing to the CD using Explorer and running setup.exe.

Condemned: Criminal Origins must be run as an administrator. Either right-click on the Start Menu shortcut and select "Run as administrator," or edit the properties of the shortcut so that it always runs as administrator. As an aside, it's rather disappointing that even though the game was designed for a console where the file locations essentially mirror the way that Microsoft recommends files be separated for Vista, Monolith didn't maintain that separation when they brought the game to Windows.
